Companies bent on changing technology are almost always driven by a powerful innovation engine.
(Okay, okay… and the hope they’ll one day make more money than Microsoft.) An innovation
engine is fueled by talented, experienced, passionate individuals who can’t sleep until they’ve
created the new, new widget, process, or service or radically improved on an existing one.

To extend the engine metaphor: exceptional, innovative people are to success as a competition
clutch and four-on-the-floor are to the Little Deuce Coupe. Take the four who make up our
Executive Team: Between them, they can point to 10 degrees, including advanced degrees
from Harvard, Stanford, and The University of Texas. Gentlemen, start our engine

Eric Smith is our VP of Engineering. He’s built quite the reputation for leading
analog/mixed-signal teams to the promised land of commercial success. In fact,
he played Moses at both Maxim and Cirrus Logic as Director of Engineering, as well as
at start-ups Prophesi Technologies and Legerity. When not leading his people,
he enjoys running, hiking and skiing with the wife and 3 kids,
tinkering with home electronics and amateur radios, and parting the Red Sea.
