Companies bent on changing technology are almost always driven by a powerful innovation engine.
(Okay, okay… and the hope they’ll one day make more money than Microsoft.) An innovation
engine is fueled by talented, experienced, passionate individuals who can’t sleep until they’ve
created the new, new widget, process, or service or radically improved on an existing one.
To extend the engine metaphor: exceptional, innovative people are to success as a competition
clutch and four-on-the-floor are to the Little Deuce Coupe. Take the four who make up our
Executive Team: Between them, they can point to 10 degrees, including advanced degrees
from Harvard, Stanford, and The University of Texas. Gentlemen, start our engine
David Boles is our Vice President of Software and Client Services
(not to mention Regional Italian Dishes). That he can whip up a mean Pepperoni Ripieni underscores his talent for bringing to the table a cornucopia of customer pleasing software and system solutions (always served with a chiffonade of basil, of course). His training has been intense and multifaceted—most recently as CTO of Crossroads Systems, Inc. and, before that, Manager of Systems Architecture at Newisys, Inc., Director of Core Technologies at Knowledge Discovery One, Inc. (later Net Perceptions, Inc.), and Senior Software Engineer (and sous chef) at Hewlett-Packard. Why he keeps a full set of cutting knifes in his desk is open to speculation, though it does tend to make co-workers nervous.
